Our Shared Future

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing"
John 15:5

Our parish has weathered many storms, much like the tree you see here.  Some braches may fall, others are removed but the tree continues to grow and adapt.  Seeking nourishment, support and strength from its roots.  Both young and old stand together in unity growing in faith and learning from each other.

All the crosses are different, some long, others short.  There are many different colours. Like these crosses God made each of us unique.

“And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.” Luke 22:19

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of [the] bread and the prayers.” Acts 2:42

This simple of act of sharing the bread and wine is of particular importance to our congregation.

Imagine the stars in the galaxy are people, each beautiful to god.
Some are close, others are far away.
There are no boundaries.
Some are drawn to the centre.
The spiraling arms of this galaxy are like gods arms embracing each one of us, drawing us close to him.

Life is a journey.
We must venture out into the wilderness knowing that God is by our side, waliking with us.
